Manifesting Beyond Material Things

Hi! Weston here! So I just wanted to talk about manifesting. The movie ”The Secret” in 2006 came out and it really opened up the idea of manifesting to a larger, greater part of the world. I mean I think tons and tons of people saw that and then not only did those teachings resonate with people but then other teachers that were talking about the same thing also started started talking about manifestation. And so one of the most powerful things about manifestation is that when the way we live before we understand manifesting powers, we live you in a place of victim, victimhood. They’re like “I don’t deserve this” and “I can’t have this” and so forth and we limit ourselves. And then once we understand that there’s this manifesting power that we can actually ask and will receive it’s this really exciting time period because you say “I want to manifest a car” or “I want to manifest this new job” or “I want to manifest this romantic partner.” And . . . and it works and it happens! And then we start to realize that maybe those things don’t make us happy. And it depends on exactly what we’re manifesting and the reasons behind why we’re manifesting something.

You know I’ve asked for relationships because I wanted to work on something. I had sexual issues or intimacy issues and I wanted to address those inside of a relationship and feel comfortable with a partner that could help me explore those. And so I had asked for that and I received them pretty strongly and be careful what you wish for because you do you definitely get a lot more. In something like a romantic relationship or a job or something that’s really gonna make you grow in ways. You know a new car? It might make you grow maybe because you buy a car that’s more luxurious than you’ve ever had before and that causes you to have to experience new things with that car. Maybe come up with a greater amount of money for the oil change or something. But really it’s not about material possessions because they don’t do much for us. When we want to manifest something greater, something more general, something like peace. If you say I want to manifest peace in all areas of my life then that is a really, really strong wish that can unfold in many many ways that push us beyond anything that we would have known in terms of some type of material object. So this is just a quick video on thinking about . . . YES, there’s a great power to manifest and a great power that makes us feel exhilarated when we get something new and different. But it’s not lasting. So I just made this video to have you look into this and offer you a question. What is something that you can manifest on a more general, broad level that would have you know everlasting impact on your life? Maybe you say you want to meet a spiritual teacher, or a new friend, somebody that can have an impactful resonance on your life for the rest of your life. Look at that when you’re manifesting. There’s different layers of manifesting and it’s okay if you’re like “hey, I just want to manifest free tickets to this concert” and you get that and it’s like “whoa, I got tickets to the concert and the concert is amazing!!” And maybe the concert changes your life. But look at the different and all the various layers of what we can manifest and why we want to manifest. And hopefully bring us out of victimhood into creator, into being able to use ourselves for greater and greater things to spread joy, happiness, love, and peace.
